Plot Summary

Howard falls for Millie Hutchins, the new woman at the bakery. He summons up the courage to ask her out, and he is rewarded with a wonderful evening. A relationship blossoms, and Howard is estatic--until he finds out Millie's old boyfriend is none other than Clyde Plaunt.

  • Actor Wayne Heffley would later team with Andy Griffith again. He appeared in an episode of "Matlock" entitled "The Stripper". Heffley also appeared in two 1967 episodes of Gomer Pyle: USMC - as a Marine sergeant in "Gomer the Recruiter" & as Corporal Crowder in "Gomer, the Privileged Character".
  • Actress Arlene Golonka appeared in 2 episodes of TAGS, both as "Millie Hutchins", but she appeared in 34 episodes of "Mayberry R.F.D." as "Millie Swanson".
